GETTING READY


What do I bring with me? (Check list)

  • Airline ticket
  • Passport
  • Letter of permission to travel in the country of destination (if required)
  • Skis, 2 pairs maximum (in one bag)
  • Ski boots and poles
  • Helmet for SL and GS– mandatory
  • ski goggles
  • Ski wear/suit (temperature is between 0 to -10 degrees celsius)
  • Hat, Gloves
  • Sleeveless jacket/vest
  • Jogging/training suit
  • Runing shoes
  • Long and short underwear and socks
  • T-shirts, casual clothing
  • Warm sweater
  • Swimsuit, towel
  • Ski maintenance and tuning/wax kit
  • Personal toiletries: towel, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
  • Sunscreen (SPF 45 minimum) & lipscreen with highest SPF available
  • Notebook and pencil
  • Wrist watch
  • Medication, if required (completed medical form)
  • Spending money (proper currency)
  • Identify all pieces of bagage with a name tage; an additional label inside each piece of bagage is advisable
  • Ski travel bags are preferable to suitcases
  • Music, camera, film, etc.
  • Standard electrical service in Chile is 220 Volts.  If you bring electrical equipment (battery chargers, etc.), you will need a 220 V to 110 V converter, or, a plug adaptor if your electrical device is dual-voltage.

Physical preparation for the camp

Please ensure that you arrive at camp in top physical condition.  Training is very intensive and demanding.  You will learn and benefit much more from the camp if you are in excellent physical shape.
